Beginning in June of 2015, BMCC has partnered with Higher One for fulfillment of Financial Aid disbursements. If a student receives financial aid in the form of scholarships, federal grants, state grants, or agency funding, their aid will be posted to the student’s account approximately one week prior to the first day of the term. After all funds are applied to the student’s account and tuition and fees deducted, any balance remaining will be deposited into students account’s the last business day prior to the first day of the term. Please be sure BMCC has your correct address on file, so all applicable materials needed to complete this process make it to you.
BOOKSTORE VOUCHER PROCESS
To have an Agency (CAPECO, VA, etc.) pay for your books, all students must first acquire a Financial Aid Voucher. You can visit any Blue Mountain Community College location to acquire a voucher. Vouchers are available during specific time periods near the start of the term. Specific dates of availability can be found here.
TO USE YOUR VOUCHER ON CAMPUS:
Visit the Service Center in Morrow Hall. You must present Photo ID to acquire a voucher.
Take your voucher to the Bookstore in Pioneer Hall.
Select your books and bring them to the counter.
Vouchers must be signed at the time of purchase and you must present Photo ID.
USING A VOUCHER WITHOUT VISITING A BMCC CAMPUS:
If you are unable to visit a campus, you can contact the Student Service Center by e-mail and have one e-mailed or faxed to you. Include a scanned copy of your Photo ID in your e-mail.
Once you receive your voucher, print and sign it. If you will be submitting your order via e-mail, scan the signed voucher into your computer
Prepare a list of your courses and/or the books you need, along with a note indicating whether you would like New or Used books (subject to availability).
E-mail your signed voucher, course/book list, and mailing address to email@example.com. If e-mail is not an option, fax the above information to the Bookstore at (541) 278-5842
IS SOMEONE ELSE PAYING FOR YOUR BOOKS?
If someone else will be paying for your books (such as a parent or other relative), please do not bring in a blank check. For security purposes, we ask that all checks be accompanied by a valid photo ID. Instead, please have the individual who is paying for your books order via our website and pay using a Credit/Debit Card. They can choose “Pick Up At Store” as the delivery option and you can pick them up at the BMCC Bookstore in Pendleton one business day after the order is placed. There is a $6.00 handling fee. You must present a photo ID when picking up your order.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD & CHECK ACCEPTANCE POLICY
To reduce credit/debit card and check fraud, the BMCC Bookstore has the following policies pertaining to acceptance of credit/debit cards & checks acceptance.
**CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS: Cards must be signed or you will be required to present photo ID. Cardholder signature or photo ID must match the name on the card.
NOTE: Debit cards will be processed as a credit card transaction. No pin is required and cash back cannot be given.
*CHECKS: Photo ID required on all check transactions. The person presenting the check must be an accountholder on the account the check is drawn and must be listed on the check.
We do not accept third party checks. Checks may be written for up to $10 over the purchase amount.
